| An on-line research (with the issuing of certificates), is done by a professional of the jurisdictional area within the Brazilian official department. They fully understand legal and fiscal areas of the company and their alliances, making sure they are operating according to the law. If applicable, lawsuits against the company can be studied, in order to get details on the pending legal issues. Supplementary research (duly authorized by letter of attorney) can also be done, in order to verify if a company is acting according to the Brazilian environment, health, and safety laws, and a location/ plant/ office visit is scheduled. |
| Background Check Customized: this service analyses a company’s legal, required, status according to the Brazilian official department’s laws, such as: |
- Federal Justice/ Income: (to) check on any pending taxes, the company’s registration and the situation of the company’s associates.
- State Trade Board: Check on any available data related to the situation of a company’s registration, and its associates. We can check registration number, company name, address, by-law situation, (which are all very important) to identify any risk/alert signs of the situation of the company.
- INSS: Check on any Social Security’s pending contributions (in Brazil companies must pay social security contributions)
- FGTS: Check on any pending labor taxes (in Brazil companies must pay the equivalent of 8% of the employee’s salary as labor taxes).
- Federal Justice: Check on any Federal matters such as lawsuits and civil, fiscal, and criminal matters.
- State Justice: Check on any state issues (civil, fiscal, criminal, and bankruptcies/concordant).
- Work/Labor Justice: Check on any working complaints from employees. This research is made only if an attorney’s letter is provided.

- Verify Annual evaluation of performance for suppliers and their safety procedures

- We Issue a conclusive report performed by a professional of the legal area to indicate the risks level of the company. (high, medium or low).
- In addition, a location/ plant/ office visit report is prepared by a professional of the safety area with comments and recommendations. If duly authorized by the company to be visited, this report shall include pictures and testimonies during interviews.
